2.  AGE STRONG is an individualized, small-group strength and conditioning program that professionally and safely trains older adults to achieve great results.  We know that you can build muscle mass, maintain or improve bone mineral density, regain more flexible joint movements, and feel more alive in your body as you age.  This program is in person at Body Wisdom Studio and taught by Nancy Burns, Jean Gorecki, Cindy Snyder, Mary D'Elia, and assistant coaches.  There is usually a wait list, so apply early.

3. BE STRONGER ONLINE is our eight-week interactive program, offering classes four days a week. It is like having an excellent private strength-training session at home, coached by Nancy Burns. When you are serious about strength training, give this program a try.   Details HERE.  Included in our unlimited monthly membership.  Free Introductory Workshop Saturday, Feb. 14th, 2-2:30 pm. Nancy Allen Burns RES-CPT

I founded Body Wisdom Studio in 2007 with a clear mission: to change the way we think about aging. Too often, aging is framed as an inevitable decline. I believe—and have seen firsthand—that it can instead be a time of growing strength, vitality, and confidence. It has been an extraordinary journey and a true privilege to witness so many individuals rediscover what their bodies are capable of at every stage of life.

There is no single movement method that works for every body. The real art of teaching movement lies in seeing the person in front of you—understanding their history, structure, and goals—and skillfully drawing from the right approaches to meet their unique needs with precision and care.

Over the past 20 years, I’ve had the opportunity to study with master teachers across a wide range of movement disciplines. My certifications include Restorative Exercise Specialist and Certified Personal Trainer through Nutritious Movement, MovNat Level 1 Certified Instructor, and Strength Training for Older Adults with Robert Linkul.

My earlier certifications include Strength and Conditioning, Massage Therapy,  and TRE® (Trauma and Tension Releasing Exercises).   Most recently, I completed the requirements to obtain a license to deliver the ONERO program.

Each of these approaches has deepened my understanding of the human body as resilient, adaptable, and remarkably capable—at any age. This philosophy guides everything we do at Body Wisdom Studio: thoughtful, intentional movement that supports strength, confidence, and lifelong independence.
